Agility,  by definition,  “is the ability to move and change direction and position of the body quickly and effectively while under control. It requires quick reflexes, coordination, balance, speed, and correct response to the changing situation”

It helps performance in activities that require you to change direction quickly it helps with overall balance, strength, speed and body control.  It applies to athletes but also to everyday Joe’s .

Agility forces an Athlete to Focus on Strengthening their steps while emphasizing on the importance of precision with every move. The correct Agility exercises pushes the athlete body to respond quickly and create the proper habits when it comes to mechanics. These reduce the potential for an injury in the future.
